"I received a call from 152.348.5246 saying they were from the US Govt Grants Dept and that my daughter has a $9700 grant that can be used "for good purposes" (LOL). I kept them on the phone on purpose and kept him talking - he asked if we knew where a Western Union was, and then said there is a $250 one time fee to ge this $9700, and that we must load it on a "Govt ID card - Apple I-tunes". I almost died laughing. He then passed us to "his supervisor" who gave us the "Grant ID number" W121, and said to call 202-534-3939 when we got to where we could load the Apple I-tunes card. I told them that Apple I-tunes would be US Govt ID cards when pigs fly and told them not to call again. Their response?? "This is not a scam! Scammers would not give you a call back number to verify!"."

"This # called several times and never left a message. I finally get the call while I'm actually home to answer it. I answered and they asked if I was there and I said no would you like to leave a message and they hung up without another word. Guess they were upset that I "wasn't there" for them to scam, lol."
