They have stopped calling me from this 1800 number. I have received them from 'unknown' numbers and also '011' number. yeap! that's them too."

"I have received a phone call from this number daily for the last 30 days. I have asked the same question every time they call. "If you work for the United States Government, answer this question. 'Who owns the United States Treasury?'"

At this point, the guy started cussing me out in a different language and he made several threats.

I called the number back and was advised that these people are using a "caller ID spoof" to route fake numbers that belong to the United States federal government. If you receive a phone call from this number it is NOT the company they are claiming to be. The true call center this number belongs to does not make outgoing calls under any circumstance.

After you hang up the phone, contact the Trade Commission at 1-877-382-4357. Also, contact 1-888-22505322 to report the Federal Fraud commission.
