"Scam scam"

"I received a phone message which sounds like Siri. The message was that it was in my best interest to call back today and if I did not, then I better retain an attorney to call them back. I work with attorneys. I know this is a scam. So they have been using this phone number for 2 years and it still goes on. I am on the do not call list."

"Got call from Peter Sampson, IRS, Criminal Division. IRS makes no phone calls. IRS has no so called "criminal division". That is the FBI. Threatening me with a lawsuit trying to extort money, threaten me, called back and said to them by law on voice mail, by federal law you have one chance at calling me and if I do not respond to your antics, your loss, another call is against federal law and the definition of that is I now have the power to be a vigilante. He will not be calling me again. The like to intimidate you without confrontation but when confronted, they deny everything do just shoot them in the head. Martial law is coming anyway. Might as well get practice for it. This is a good start. I am sure nobody will care who Peter Sampson is or where his dead body is."

He stated there was a warrant for my arrest, etc. I called him back and informed that I know it's a scam, I found his number in Google and submitted a report. He hung up."

"Also received a phone message from Eric Mason, phone # 202-241-5488, Washington, DC. August 29, 2014. Exact same as Carole up above on August 13, 2014. Criminal Investigations of IRS. I started questioned him and he started contradicting himself, I then told him I knew this was a scam, and I will be calling the FBI and IRS after I finish talking to him. He stated there was a warrant for my arrest, etc. and when I questioned the amount he couldn't give me an answer, that I questioned it again, and hbe said $6000. When I repeated that I will be calling the FBI and IRS, he got all ruffled and I couldn't understand him, and he then said you MF and hung up!. I then spoke to the FBI and IRS fraud line which is just for this type of scam, and gave them all the info., both agencies are aware of this and other scams like it, and they are working on getting to them."
