"Call received on December 12 indicating several arrest warrants and the potential for the "local cops" to arrest me unless responding. Did not explicitly say they were from the IRS but then two days later received a call from 951-368-0318 which felt like a very similar MO."

"Caller left a detailed message on my voice mail stating that there have been a warrant for my arrest due to IRS lack of payment. I asked why haven't I received any information in the mail and he became defensive stating that an officer came to my home to deliver the information. I realized it wasn't legitimate and told him, I'll call the IRS to validate this information."

"Robot voice claiming to be from IRS. I blocked the number and they called back twice with a new number 509-643-4439 (Sunnyside WA). Blocked that number and now they call under "Private Caller". When will NBC Dateline go after these crooks? People would love to see the faces behind these harassing calls going off to jail!"

"Two calls today alone - one with the number showing on caller ID and the other listed as Private Number. Both, however, gave the same number within a recorded message indicating the call was from the IRS."
