"Heavy accent just like the other callers. New my name and called my work cell phone. He said my computer had been compromised. I told him I didn't trust him , let me check your number on the internet. He insisted I go to my computer now and I had to then threaten him with a call to report him."

"A man with foreign accent said my computer had sent "distress signals" to them and it was necessary for me to follow his instructions -Go to MS Management Console Device and he would instruct me as to how to repair my computer. Luckily for me I was in the middle of an HP Smart Friends remote session to fix "Slow" issues and told this man on the phone that I would not interrupt HP. So he asked if he could call back tomorrow afternoon (Fri 5/13/16) and I agreed knowing I would have time to check this out. He knew my name, my ISP and of course my phone number. He also knew or guessed I was using Microsoft on my computer. I asked him what company he was with and got only a vague comment about my computer sending a signal that it could crash if not attended to."

"Caller said she was calling from "IT" and that my computer was running an invalid copy of Microsoft. I asked "what computer", she said my personal computer. I said this was a bogus call and do not call again, at which time she became aggressively hostile, threatened me with a call every hour throughout the night until I hung up."

"The man said he was calling from IT and it was regarding my computer. I asked what company he was calling from and he replied IT. I said he should hang up now and I am going to report him. He started yelling at me and I said this is a fraudulent call and he better not call again."
