"The call started in the middle of the message, which said,"Funds to renew your computer will be taken from your bank account in two hours." He then said, "To cancel these charges call 1-317-350-1412." He said the number so quickly I had to listen to the message several times. My wife called the number which was answered by someone with a thick accent. She told him she didn't fall off the turnip truck yesterday, she knew what he was up to and to never call us again.
My wife then called our financial institution to make them aware of the call and to place a warning on our account on the off chance the scammers actually had our account information. We will also be reporting this scam to local law enforcement."
