3234993093Have you received a call from 323-499-3093? Submit a report and help provide information that may assist in stopping them from calling us all. Following are phone call reports that have been submitted regarding the phone number (323) 499-3093323-499-3093 / (323) 499-3093 Phone Number Reports:Submitted by pasadenawheels on December 06, 2020"This call was received Saturday, December 5, 2020. This "Joe Johnson" (alias) said I won $17,000,000 and a new Mercedes-Benz. He didn't have the usual Jamaican accent, but blocked his number in each of his 3 calls. This is a SCAM, SPAM, and PRANK call. "Joe Johnson" is a Jamaican who said he's with Wells Fargo and some lottery company who adds people from a system that "tracks" (LIES) a person when paying bills, shopping at Wal-Mart, CVS, Walgreens, K-Mart, and other large retailers (these are named so when they tell you to go buy [in advance: do a Google search for Advance Fee Scam] a reloadable card to pay the "government tax" to get your prize you'll know where to go and get it quikly). They say it's a fee the government assesses for the $17 million + car and not assessed by them. If you say you'll pay the government tax directly then they say it's a different office and other offices won't know where to apply the tax and credit the payment, so "you pay the tax to them and they send it to the government office" and refuse to say what government office whom only the supervisor's supervisor knows and that supervisor's supervisor is rarely seen. Listening to the voice accent, they're ALL Jamaicans and all they want is the money from the card they ask you to load and want the victim (you) to give them the all the information by phone (to prove) you bought the card and is valid, but once the information from the card is provided (from scratching the back of the card) they'll immediately transfer the money from your card to their account within seconds before the call ends. Once the call ends, you'll never hear from them again, or maybe you will from another Jamaican SCAMMER as you'll be on the SCAMMER list, just not from the same SCAMMER. Nearly all Jamaicans call from the (876) area code that they claim is New York and New York does have a (876) area code, but Jamaicans area code is an international code which they also lie about. From the (876) area code, they also give a US number which is often a TextNow number (see www.textnow.com) which is mainly for texting, but also has calling from and to that number AND has automatic and free CallerID unless blocked when calling it (67) yet, not all providers support CalledID Blocking. Remember, if you see (876) 234-5678 on you CallID screen, you can bet it's a Jamaican saying you won $5,000,000 and a new Mercedes-Benz and you pay the government tax in advance (we paid 99 of the taxes you pay 1 and their 1 ISN'T the amount they said you won like 1 of $5 million is $50,000 but they ask for $300 to $500) which is Advance Fee Scam. They'll spend 10 minutes to 60 minutes trying to convince you even putting their "supervisor" on the phone who's just a friend. If you really listen, there's other people reading the same trying to convince other potential scam victims to buy the same card. To date, in the last 18 months I've logged 40 Jamaican scammers. A few of these scammer's numbers have been used by 5+ other scammers who've used different names. These different names are all American. And, if you save these numbers from the names they give into your contacts list and you have either/both apps WhatsApp and Imo, you'll see their profile pics, friends and other things they post. It's very interesting. Lastly, this is done the same way as telemarketing rooms/offices are done...reading the same and waiting for the potential victim to respond so if you listen closely you can hear other scammers. These Jamaicans began calling me in November 2018." CALLER COMPANY: (alias) Joe Johnson Submitted by Monica G on November 10, 2020 "I have continued to receive calls from this guy from Jamaica. I hardly ever answer but, decided this once to entertain him. He said I won $17million & I said, I haven't entered any contest. He insisted it was for real & he talks very slow. Now that I refuse to call the 323-499-3093 number he's harassing me."
