"they attempt to scare the person about a possible delivery of an expensive electronic device such as an Apple iPhone or tablet. The recorded message states that a large amount of money has been debited from your account, and if the delivery for the next day is correct then nothing needs to be done, but if not then to press some number on the phone.
Of course, that is all a lie, so the person answering the phone usually press the phone and then they proceed to ask many personal questions to be able to actually debit your credit card or debit card for some fictitious charge.
If you call that number, it will always be a recorded message trying to set you up for a fictitious charge. They pretend to be any random important company whenever you call them like Amazon, or Google.
