"I recently got a notice in the mail from 845-316-1540, I called and they said they had a $100 gift card for me and all I had to do was pay $4.95 shipping and handling. He said the company was IDPRO. He wanted my name and card number. I told him I wa Ted to check out the company before doing so, because I dont want to give out my cc info. The call hung up. So was this a scam?"

"A recording of a female voice saying your SSN may have encountered problems and has been suspended immediately. The voice was shake and felt and had a lot of noise in it.
I called back and the company the person stated he was with a company called IDPro247. He stated that I had a wrong number, point blank thats it!"
