"Called to refund money that I paid to have my computer repaired. The said they wanted to return the amount to my checking account. I said to return it to my card, but they said they couldn't. They said to check my account and see if it was returned. I did and it was except by a 5000 dollar over payment. They said to go to Walmart and send the over payment to them by money order. I refused and they said to send 500 dollars as a show of faith . I said no and on the computer screen it showed that they took everything out of my checking and savings. I said I was calling the bank and they said the bank would not give me my money back. I called the bank and told them what happened and they locked my account. They said that they had not taken any money out. They must have a software program that shows differently. They bank said my account was not touched, but it would be locked until I opened a new account. They would then move my money over to the new account. I was lucky that I called my bank right away and they locked my account. I did not lose any money. The bank said it is going on constantly and worse around the Holidays. They will keep calling and trying under different numbers,"
