"Caller emailed my work email and impersonated my employer who asked for my personal cell phone. I reacted too quickly and sent it. The next day, I got a text from this number yet again impersonating my employer and asked that I respond if I received his text."

"This person originally emailed me pretending to be my boss and asked me for my personal cell phone number. Upon giving this person my cell phone number I received text from this number asking me to purchase gift cards for them originally five $100 gift cards for iTunes. This person asked me to send the codes on the back of each of the cards to confirm that they have been activated appropriately. Once I did this, they asked me to buy an additional five $100 gift cards to iTunes and send the backs of the cards again to verify them. Finally they asked for an additional 10 $100 gift cards to iTunes. This is when I realized this was fraud and this number wad not my boss. I blocked the number immediately."
