"obviously not a full phone number, so a scam is implied. i didn't answer, they, of course, didn't leave a message. didn't call them back, that would prove i was a real person and then the harassment would never end. Best just to avoid answering this number all together. Read other comments from several sites. The people that have spoken to them say they are trying to hack into computers saying that your computer is sending out a virus alert signal and they are with windows (NOT TRUE) and need access to check it out. DON'T DO THIS!! Over the years I have spoken with Windows techs and they have told me that it is impossible for a computer to "send out" alerts of this kind and windows WON'T call you...you have to call them. NEVER trust anyone that says they are with Windows unless you have called them 1st."
