"I was called with a message warning about my social security and to return a phone call to avoid arrest to press 1. I did. However, I was already highly skeptical. When they asked me my name to look up my file (and it is a common name), I asked how could they possible look up my file with just my name and I warned them that I would be reporting the number. I told them I am not giving out other personal information and to send me a letter, if this is indeed true. They hung up on me."
