"Receiving robo calls saying they are calling from Marriott Hotels that a friend or family member gave them my number for a free discount. Called Marriott and they said they are not making any calls, but researching these calls and trying to find who is making them. They said to just hang up as soon as I know it is one of these. I get several a day, every day for weeks, as I only answer "unknown caller" when I am waiting for a call from a bank or appraiser or contractor or someone like that calling back on a number I do not know, I have to answer."
