"Called this number after being emailed regarding a home that was rent-to-own.

Long story short, they guaranteed a property, but due to having less than perfect credit, I had to sign up for a particular credit repair company "to prove to the homeowner that you are trying your best to improve your credit score".

Since those are a scam to begin with, being told by a guy that doesn't speak very good English that I need to sign up to purchase a house (despite income being well above what the rent would be) was kinda fishy."
