"They left me a voicemail stating they were from the Dept of revenue and that there was a warrant for my arrest to contact immediately to resolve the issue. They gave me a case number and badge number. The first person who I talked to said I owed $8,000 on taxes and that the IRS was going to prosecute. They transferred me to collections and asked me how much I had today. I said nothing and the teller said he was going to proceed with the warrant because I was not cooperating. I responded that I didn’t understand what was going on and that I was getting a lawyer.

I honestly don’t even know why I took it that far. I should have known it was a scam from the beginning."
