My cell phone provider offers a service at the end of the voicemail that allows you to push 88 to call back the number. It then provided a different number than the 888 number provided by "Jessica." It is an 818-941-35xx number. If you still have the voicemail, check to see if you have a similar service. It would be interesting to compare the last four digits."

"The caller identified herself as Jessica (Reynolds?). The company name was not clear. She did not indicate who she was trying to reach; however, she said that she was calling about "your student loan" and to "discuss payment options." She provided Reference No. 00135 for a call back because, "It just makes things so much easier." Most spam calls, including those about student loans, have a robotic sound and this one didn't. Those who actually have student loans might fall victim to the caller's scheme."
