"A recorded message saying that this call is from the Social Security Office on a serious issue. I have received one other call from another # this morning that said the same thing in the recorded message saying that I need to stay on the line, and here are the 2 phone #'s that had called me today 800-686-9769 and 800-686-8537
And I did wait for someone to pick up, and I did not really catch his name when he first came on the phone. When asked who he is calling for, he said my name but I did not confirm that I was who he was calling for. As I then asked as to who is calling and he did claim to be with the Social Security Office and then asked me for some information (Social Security #). I told him "I had been in the Social Security Office about the calls, and they said that they don't call you as they send you a letter, and I'm not going...." and he hung up on me."
