"got a call from this number too, however I am savvy enough to start paying there game, so as soon as I heard the accent, I started asking him for his full name which he gave "Shown Michael", then I asked him for SSN, and he paused a bit, I continued to ask for DL number, home phone. well he hung up. I started to call him back every minute on the minute none stop for about an hour. this guy have not called me back in two days. I have no issue keep stomping these idiots for thinking that American is that stupid."

"The caller's name was Sean (or Shawn) Michael claiming to be from the IRS Criminal Investigation Division, stated that there was an arrest warrant for my mom, a senior citizen, for tax fraud. I offered to have her accountant/CPA contact him to resolve any tax problem; he refused communication with her CPA. He gave me an option to make a payment of the money she supposedly owed due to the tax fraud by getting a voucher at some place (blah, blah, blah . . . I couldn't understand everything he said because he had such a THICK Indian accent!) Up until this point, everything sounded believable (not that my mom has committed any tax fraud, but the government could have made a mistake, someone else could have stolen her identity, anything is possible yet rectifiable), but as soon as he started with the voucher thing, and that this matter had to be done within the next half hour, I thought something was fishy.

As it turned out, I was talking with a scammer! Beware, everyone . . . these scammers are getting better and better at their games!"
