"I received a call on my land line AND cell phone and did not answer it. They left a message saying they were going to serve me papers at my employment or residence if I didn't call them back due to a fraudulent matter. I have never been involved with any kind of fraudulent activity before in my life. The funny thing is that when I called them back they did know my social security number. I know this has to be a scam but how do they have my social???"

I called back the number from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where a girl with the name Lakisha said I was just the reference and this was my mother's card. She went very presentable, speaking as she was a paralegal into a collection lawyer's office. She hung up on me at first, i then called my parents and found that mom had never had anything with Barclays bank. I called her back to ask her to send information through mail, and said that if she was really a collection company she would have my mother's address. She got mad... I hung up... SCAM! End of the story!!!"
