"this is the third time they've called. It is automated- these scare tactics are ridiculous. Another number calls stating that they are the IRS and I will be arrested on the court house steps if I don't call them. None of the government agencies CALL you!!! you will get a letter and sometimes it is certified/official stamp. Don't return the call- they are verifying your number and your information. Both have been reported to the Fraud units of IRS and SSA"

"I got a call from this number today and it was telling me about my Social Security but if I didn't call back right away they will shut off my social security so I called him back and gave me a fictitious name and they told me I owe taxes on my social security so it's a scam just like everything else on here"
