"Received a call today stating I owe $900 to the IRS and there was a warrant for my arrest. He still tried to claim I would be arrested if I don't pay today, even after I told him I am a dependent and didn't even file my own tax return for 2016."

"They called me on Thursday August 10, 2017 4:50PM EST. They told me that they were IRS Officers who told me that I had taken money from the IRS and asked whether I had done the action intentionally or accidentally. They attributed the money from my 2016 tax return. They told me the IRS had some kind of court case against me and I could settle the case inside the court or outside the court. They told me that if I wanted to settle the case that day then I would need to pay $500 to them to settle the over $1000 I had taken from them. Then the caller transferred me to another attendant to get more information from me. Both people gave me their full name and badge ID number.

They then called me back two more times on Friday August 11, 2017 at 5:12PM EST and Monday August 14, 2017 at 11:45AM EST."
