"This number calls us daily for the past week or so. When we finally answered we told them to stop calling this number and they hung up. They called again the next day 20 Oct 15, and hung up on us when we answered. They call morning, noon and night and we want their calls stopped."

"just received a call from 1-516-453-6886 whom ever was calling hung up when I answered the telephone. This sound like it's part of a computer scam. They gain access to your computer and freeze the system and you receive a message to call a specific number the person that answers tells you that they are with Microsoft and can remove the virus. They advise you that it will call $399.00 which I agreed to pay but once they removed that virus I contacted Microsoft who told me that they do not conduct business in that manner. When I received the invoice for the virus removal I emailed them and advised that they were operating a scam telling them of F - OFF. I did receive further calls but advised them again about their status. I subsequently reported them to the RCMP fraud division and they were to investigate this organization through the telephone number and web page.

"caller tried to get me to run search for a file named I believe evient not sure of the spelling as he has a thick accent. Something just didn't seem right and he just kept trying to convince me. I finally hung up and then he tried to call me back."

"I was told to key in a code after pushing the window+r button I was told this was a from my Microsoft software contract. The caller explained the updates were not downloading. When the caller didn't get desired answer he hung the phone up in my face."

They called me 5 times Tuesday evening (answered the first call (mistake on my part); press reject call the last 4) and recently last night at church youth service (I ignored the number)"
