I was suspicious about this which is why I gave him my mailing address and not the address where the appliance actually is located. Then I did a bunch of googling and found this page and now I know that this is a total scam. Most likely he is being paid to get addresses that are associated with cell phone numbers. So my mailing address and cell phone number are now connected in his database. Other than that, no harm done. I didn't lose any money or give up my physical address."
