"Same as above caller spoke in a foreign accent, said my computer was being hacked and he needed me tho turn on my computer. I informed him I had heard of the scan and I hung up. Them I blocked the number."

"I've received calls from this number many times, but don't answer. After reading the submitted comments, I'm glad I didn't."

"Call from micro soft. He spoke foreign language at first. Tried to scam me by saying my computer was compromised."

"Called today. I did not answer because research says they will sell my number if I answer the call, and I will get more calls. I don't know anyone in Los Angeles either! If I don't recognize the number, I never answer."

"A female called and sounded like she was from India and said she was from Microsoft Online Technical Support and there have been reports sent to them that someone has hacked into my computer. She needed me to turn my computer on. I said that's impossible right now, I was at work and probably would not be home until close to 8pm. She wanted to call me back at 7pm. I said you can try but I'm not going to be home. Then asked what time I leave for work and said she could call back about 6am tomorrow morning. I asked her shouldn't my Norton software have found this? She said no the Norton software was hacked also. I also asked if she was trying to sell me something, again she said no.I'm going to have cell phone off, especially after looking up about the phone number and it being a scam."
