"Caller insisted they had worked on my computer for security issues. I said they did not. He continued to insist they did. I asked when and he said within the past two years. He kept saying my computer was not secure. I told him I was on a no call list and not to call me back. I hung up. He had a thick accent and I am not very good at understanding accents when the person talks fast so I don't know the company he claimed he was with."

"I have received many calls from this number telling me my computer was "compromised". They would tell me they were calling from HP Tech support to fix my compromised computer. I just hang up."

"They won't quit calling me. At 8:00 this morning I asked them to take me off their list. They called back less than 10 minutes later and I hung up. Then they called back this evening and when I said didn't I tell you this morning to take me off your list he told me to shut up and listen to him! I immediately hung up. They have called back twice since and I haven't answered the phone. This isn't the first day of this - it's been going on for months!"

"These people called several times in a row telling me that my computer was compromised. They wanted me to give them all kinds of info. Wanted me to log into my computer and complete their steps. When I told them I wouldn't do it they got really angry and told me I was a criminal and wanted to know how long I lived in the United States. They were very persistent, wouldn't take no for an answer. I asked them what company they were with and they said Microsoft alliance support. But wouldn't answer any other questions. They were very rude and ancted extremely sketchy. BEWARE OF THESE POEOPLE!!"

""I just received a call from man named "William Debb" claiming to be from "Norton Symantec" and that "60" of their Norton Internet Security updates were being rejected by my computer due to a malfunctioning Microsoft security program. He asked me to allow him access to my computer so that he could fix the problem. I decided to have fun with this scammer. I told him I have several PC's and a couple of laptops, each one on a different network. I would be glad to let him fix the problem if he could just tell me which computer, which network. He said any computer will do, just allow him access and he will fix the Microsoft program that will then allow Norton downloads in. Really!!!!! I told him I can't access any of the networks at the moment. He politely asked if it was OK if called me back in the evening. I said, sure!"

"Received a call from caller saying they were from Microsoft and that I had a virus on my computer and they wanted to "fix" it. I told them no, they called back insisting that I let them have access as my computer virus will ruin my computer, again I said no. Then another person called stating they were the floor manager, I told them if I have a virus I will contact Microsoft myself and they laughed at me stating they were Microsoft. I hung up and blocked the number."

"Lady called said from Microsoft South Carolina and I told her she was having phone traced and it was fraudulent call. She kept on talking Asked me to type a bunch of stuff in computer I of course did not do. Then she called back I on line if you want to trace me? There so bold!"
