CALLER ID: 855-236-7500 Submitted by Retro on May 12, 2020 "855-236-7500 is a scam call number. BLOCK IT. Today, 05-12-2020, I received two calls from this miserable scammer. Due to high volume of scam calls to my telephone, I no longer answer my telephone. I let all calls go to voice mail. I then check voice mail for message. After both calls a voice mail "message" recording congratulated me upon winning over a million dollars (Publisher's Clearing House) and asked that I press a number to give information. In addition to this post, I have contacted local and federal law enforcement." Submitted by KJD on May 11, 2020 "This caller claimed to be from Publisher’s Clearinghouse, calling to inform me that I had won $2.5 million dollars. They said I would be responsible for $4999 in taxes and to call back with my checking account and bank routing numbers. I never gave PCH my phone number which is why I was suspicious." CALLER ID: 8552367500 Submitted by HMT on May 08, 2020 "I have received 2 calls from this number. The caller sounds very professional. He claimed to be calling for Publisher's Clearing House, and congratulated me on winning $2.5 million. I hung up then because I hadn't entered their contest. When I got the same call the next day, I kept listening. He said that I would have to make a tax payment of $4,900 before I could receive my millions. I would have to press 2, and give that person my bank routing #, account #, and ID info so they could get the $4,900 and arrange to deposit my millions, which would appear in my account in 5 days. This man sounded very believable. I'm afraid he could take advantage of some desperate people."
