"I received a phone call on my landline about a refund from a Microsoft scam concerning tech assistance as mandated by the government. The individual said that they need permission to download a form and gave me an identity number and passcode. I needed to let them load the www.teamviewer.com to receive the form. He said a representative would call back to my landline to set it up. They had access to my computer however, I keep my computer benign as possible. Then he asked if I had access to my accounts and I told him no, my husband is the only one with access. He wanted to talk to him and I informed him as I told the earlier individual my husband is not home. He asked what time he would be and I informed him that my husband does not get home until after midnight. The individual said his name was Jep or Geep asked to call back on Monday morning as this is Friday after four p.m. This is the list he asked for:
1. MRN Banking Statement

2. When the Accept or Decline Refund appear hit accept.

3. Refund Code would be given. Put in refund code.

After telling him I do not bank on-line and only my husband has access to the information he gave me his name, asked for my birthdate to use as a password and he told me not to accept calls from anyone saying that they were their representatives. My year of birth would be a password when they call on Monday,30 July, 2018 at 10 a.m."
