"The caller ID on this was Econ Wealth, but the phone number was 888-888-8888. Said they had technical information of my computer. I stated that I knew this was a scam call and I was reporting them and they hung up. The male voice had a heavy foreign accent."

"On June 14, 2012 at 5:55pm PDT I received a phone call from this number (from a male voice with a strong Indian accent) saying they were calling from "Windows". I asked Windows what and he said Windows on your computer. He said they were running scans for the past few days on my computer and wanted to know if I was in front of my computer. I said I was eating dinner and he said he was sorry and would call back in 15 mins. I said, "No you won't" and hung up."
