"Accidentally answered call with ID unavailable. Male with heavy accent ( India?) saying my computer sent report to them that my Windows has a problem. Told him no Windows. Said he had report saying I did. Told him wrong, don't call again. Rude repeating he had to fix it. Told him can't fix what isn't there. He got loud, insistent, then yelling obscenities saying I didn't know what the hell I was talking about. Happened fast. Hung up on him. Five phone calls in two days from #9917, no messages left. Wish I knew who was responsible for this. I'd love to give them a tight hug around the neck with both hands and get them to stop."

"Missed a call at 10:04 am, answered one at 1:37 pm (mistake) which went as follows: thickly accented Indian or Southeast Asian man claimed there was something wrong with my computer, I tried to be polite but figure out where he was going with it. Something about Windows, but I had a hard time understanding him. I asked him to remove my number and I hung up on him. Then I answered their call from an 'Unknown' number because I'm a gullible human and he asked me why I hung up on him and continued to try to convince me he was tying to help me. He tried to direct me to a website that I couldn't decipher over my partner yelling at me to hang up. I finally did because the man kept asking me if I had a brother, as though I was too stupid to type in "www." I hung up on him again and ignored another call from the 991-7."
