"I started to revive these calls in February of 2019 with the caller ID +9917 and at first it was just dead air and fuzz until I started to hear breathing and the a loud fire alarm like beep and then an automated “GOODBYE!”
I tried to do block them but nothing worked!"

"Get 3+ of these calls a day. Display shows "Unknown name" with the numbers 9917 underneath. Even knowing it is probably a scam, I tried answering ---- just dead air. Of course with only 4 digits, cannot call back, but suspect the number is actually 469-440-9917, which has been reported repeatedly to 800notes.com as a scam. For anyone not aware of it, 800 Notes is a good place to check others' experience of some of these scam numbers."
