"Annoying person trying to sound official saying he is calling about the "third party" and wanting to talk about the accident I had in the last few months. I strung him along for quite a while as a new tactic as telling them politely not to call again does not work. We are registered with the TPS and cross that calls still get through."

"Received a call from this number on two lines, one line registered to work. There was a fumbling sound, then foreign voice "hello Sir how are you ?". I asked him who he was and he didn't answer so I hung up. The number can appear as "international" on caller display phones, however my work phone showed the number. It's obvious they are using a voice over IP box to fool you into thinking its a UK number. I am ex directory and registered on TPS, so how does this still happen ?"
