"usualAsian voice with English name saying that we were due a ppi refund from a loan taken out with Barclays Bank. Never had a loan in my life ! Told us that Barclays Bank gave them our information ! Nuisances. Hate the thought of any old or vulnerable people being conned by these idiots."

"Have been called by this number on several occasions caller said I had taken out a loan five years ago (rubbish). Have just returned from a week's holiday & this number called five times whilst I was away. I have registered with Telephone Preference Service but this doesn't seem to make any difference."

"Caller said he was from a government refund company and that I was due a refund on a loan I took out in 2005 and subsequently paid off in 2009.
Very difficult to understand the fast talking Asian caller who kept interrupting and repeating the same thing.I became more and more suspicious and eventually hung up"

"I got a call from this number and the person sounded Asian, I told him I am not interested in his call and he started saying very abusive things such as what he would like to do with my wife, if our telephone companies are aware of these calls from this particular number why don't they block it?"

"Had two calls today from this number, first call at 12:32 told me about a loan from Lloyds TSB and that they want to pay back the PPI?? caller said his name was Kavin (heavy Asian accent) he told me dates and amount borrowed, I tried to get a company name from him but no joy, he said he got the information from the FSA which I find very hard to believe, eventually I hung up and dialled 1472 and got the number above.
The second call came at 15:31 more of an English accent this time but with slight Asian touch. He said his name was Mike from PPI Reclaim, same story as before but managed to get that he as based in Manchester, when I asked for his phone number he started with 085.. then the line cut off. It's worrying that these people have so much info and can sound very convincing."

"Had 3 calls today in 3 hours. Luckily we have a BT 8500 Call Guardian phone which deals with all unsolicited calls, if the number is,nt in your address book on the phone they cannot get through. Best £49 we have spent."
