"I keep getting calls from this #. He said he's with JCP&L. I told him I don't use JCP&L & he said he has me as an active account. I told him I don't have time for his sales pitch, please stop calling & remove me from his list. He just kept calling back & when I didn't answer he left a messages to call him back at 800)217-9711 x1143 Juan."

"For months now, my business has been getting calls from this number consistently. For the past few years it was here and there.

After MANY MANY times of asking them to remove our number from their list and quite a few times of us hanging up on this guy, they still call. They call under anonymous-x and Jersey City, NJ with 201-680-7344.

He says he is from PSEG (he names some division) and I may have been overcharged for my electricity.

1st: The information he had was incorrect. He tried to say I was responsible for an address that I wasn't. I rented an office space there a couple years ago, the landlord paid the utilities. They were in HIS name, not mine.

2nd: When I stated he had the wrong information, he tried telling me I was wrong. I said I pay all the bills, I know what's what. Then he wanted me to get my bill and he would wait so we can confirm information. Kept insisting to get my bill. NOT HAPPENING!

Apparently this supposed overcharge is a matter of pennies from what I could gather quickly. I said I don't mind being overcharged. Please stop calling. Take me off your list. He said, " Well ma'am, I can't take you off the list, it will keep cycling through and your number will keep coming up". So, if I don't do whatever they are looking for, basically, they will keep calling. I told him remove me again. He still wanted to try to convince me to get my bill. I hung up. He called back 3 times.

Since then, he has called daily. When I am really mad I pick up and again tell him I am running a business and I do not have time to deal with these calls, remove me from the list. I just did that again a few minutes ago, he called back 4 times. 2 were blocked and 2 were the Jersey City number.

I cannot believe there is nothing I can do to stop this. If I had to estimate, roughly 50 of my daily calls are scammers, telemarketers and Google Ads. Google is also pretty bad. They have numbers all over the USA. If you listen to the recording you can be removed from the list, but they just call the next day from another number. If I could get rid of my phone I would, but you need to be able to deal with your clients."
