"Initial male said requesting donations for national police association. Sounded legit. Asked if I wanted to donate 25, $35 or $45. I said $25. Asked if I was sure with $25. I said ok. Another person came on line and asked for credit card info. I asked who was this again to verify the organization. She then asked for my last name. I asked again...who was the organization. She again asked for my last name. Then I hung up. They are getting clever."

"It is Bait and Switch. They call asking for a different person and then start the talking on their behalf of some law enforcement officers. It was a recording and was not anyone to talk to. Sheriff offices do not call, sheriff associations do not call, and I seriously doubt any of them do anywhere. I worked for one. These are despicable people that need to be locked up."

"This individual keeps calling asking for donations 2 to 3 times a year. It's the same voice and I have politely asked him to take me off his call list as I am on a fixed income and do not have any funds to donate. He's been calling my number for over 5 years and is very forceful on the phone."
