A guy who could hardly speak English told me I was awarded $12,000 from some US government grants program - but I live in Canada - why would the US Govt be giving me money? Gave me a call back number (360-268-8426) and code - when I call they will tell me what I have to do to get the $$$. Didn't call back, of course - an obvious scam which will ask me to pay some kind of fee upfront to get the $12000. Tell them to send you the money first then you'll pay their fee, ha!!"

"They have called me numerous times. I asked for names which were Katie Moor and when transferred to a "Supervisor" his name was Michael Williams. Not being racist, but with their accents those names seemed highly unlikey. Both times i answered the call (first time i didnt ask as many questions) i was offered $12,000 then it $5,000. Their reasoning was because of good credit (which i dont have) and basically that i have a "good relationship with the government". They said i had to pay no tax, and pay no momey back. But in order to "register my account" i needed to put 200$ onto a gift card. Suggested a walmart gift card because i only had a credit card and they wanted a debit card. When the walmart Mastercard they said i needed only accepted cash they said i could also put it on an EBAY or Target gift card? MADE NO SENSE!!"
