I told him I couldn't find it but he insisted on my giving him some other card. When I told him I would just call him back when I found it he got mad and said it was my choice then hung up and I got called back about 10 times."

"I got a call about an hour ago from (419)742-1473 about being eligible for a $14,566.00 grant for not having a criminal background or going bankrupt. Now, I am from Ohio and my phone number started with (419) as well, yet they stated they were calling from Seattle, Washington on 915 second ave, 98174. I looked this up and it is a Social Security Office, not the Department of Health and Family Services, as previously stated. Everybody had a very heavy accent. I got transfered 2 times to see what this was all about and they gave me the number (469)300-0312 to call next 28th a "grant approval id #"
This grant was supposedly funded partly by Apple and, as with most scams, I was asked to go to walgreens, cvs, target, etc to upload $400 on an activation card for iTunes to verify that I want the grant.
Lastly, I was transferred again after stating that I cannot pay $400 cash for an iTunes card. The next man told me to call him back daily until I can get the money or my money will be giving to somebody "more willing" I laughed, he got mad and hung up.
NO REAL GRANT OPPORTUNITIES WILL ASK FOR YOUR INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE NOR IS IT AS EASY AS UPLOADING MONEY, and getting it all in "15 minutes plus your money back".
Don't do it people!! These guys definitely got annoyed when I asked questions and half the time when they seemingly didn't want to answer, they would just ask if I could head them or to take them off of speaker.. Which they were not on.
It truly does freak me out that he was able to tell me my address, my last 4 without me answering and He asked for my drivers license number.. Hell no.
Bottom line: report these calls. Don't give away your personal info!!"

"Did not answer the call, BUT I recently put an ad out for a dog on a classified ad forum and after not hearing anything for a while got a strange email (sounded like someone with bad English trying to sound OVERLY intelligent. Answered via email but got suspicious when a SECOND email with almost the exact same wording but with a different name came in. That evening I started getting these phone calls. I would love to know if they are connected to this jerk."
