So stupid but scary they have the last 4 of my SS."

"I didnt receive a call from this number but from another number. The man says he is Mr. Glenn Sam's and pretty much says the same kind of stuff as above. So I'm taking it that this is a scam. It's a 470 number but I will have to check the rest. I did speak with him and he was calling for my husband and said if we didnt get back by tomorrow there was nothing he could do and it would go to court and they would detach my husband's wages."

"Same message as the above. He sounds very threatening. I called back and he was asking me verify all private information. I hung up on him. He called me right back I left it go to voicemail. He was threatening me again."

I advise people to not even talk to these people or engage them. Block their numbers and maybe even get a spam blocker"

"I just got the same basic message. Said they had been retained by the bank to move forward in a civil suit as well as two other complaints including attempting to defraud a financial institution. He tried to talk about it being a courtesy call and how I need to call back today or they will come to my place of business, but due to my place of employment they are trying to help me avoid embarrassment.
The generic statements of being retained by "the bank" and just saying "my place of work" instead of where I actually work seem fishy.
Does anyone know for sure that this one is BS? It definitely doesn't seem legit, but I also don't want to blindly label all these calls as fake and miss a real one."
