"I got a call from what sounded like my ex wife crying and she said she didn't know where they were taking her. Then a mans voice came in and told her to keep her head down or he would put a bullet in her brain. He then told me his name was diablo with the Mexican mafia and she was involved with the wrong people. Since i thought it was my ex wife, I hung up. He called back twice and I hung up both times"

Same thing when I said I wouldn't help her, he said as if talking to someone else "put a bullet in her head""

"Same as above...said they had my daughter with a gun to her stomach. I have never been so scared in my life because she was driving home from a trip. I panicked and after my husband called her and she was fine my emotions went through the roof!! This is the worst scam ever and I fell for every word the guy said, he was a complete jerk and said my daughter was listening to the call...I am still trying to get over it"

"I received a phone call from this number. There was a voice that seemed to be crying and saying my name. The voice was trying to sound female but may not have actually been a female voice. Then a man picked up the line and said I have your niece. My name is Diablo from the Mexican Mafia and are you going to help her? If you're not going to help her I'm going to strap drugs to her stomach and make her cross the border. Are you going to help her? I kept asking what's her name? He said oh you're not going to help her? I'm going to put a bullet in her head and then hung up"
