"Said they were from Pacific Gas & Electric and that a "service technician" was on the way to disconnect my electric service. I am a business, not a residential service. This is the second time I have received this type of call. The first time I called them back and thought It was a true call. Then they had me scrambling to pay. However, once they told me I needed "CASH" and to go to the nearest 7-11, the gig was up. I actually hung up and got out my PG&E bill, called the number on my bill and reported that I had received this call, PG&E verified that NO, my electricity was NOT in fact being shut off and this was a scam. People, PG&E will identify themselves and will give you an account number, they will tell you the ADDRESS of your service and will give you specific information. Always call the number on your bill, NOT some random number on a recorded message."
