"I made the same call for a brochure and now they won't stop and now I have received the mysterious yellow postcard"

"By looking up the 800 number I discovered your site showing it would have been from Life Alert. I had called them a few weeks ago asking for a brochure as instructed in their web site. The spokesperson insisted I talk to a sales rep. I did not want to - just a brochure. The were persistent. Today received anonymous post card. I will tear it up. I have since found a supplier for my needs. They must be desperate, or working on commissions only."

"I made the same mistake of calling LifeAlert for information because my parents are elderly and dad had 2 strokes in dec. They refuse to leave their home,.....so I thought this would be a good thing for them. HOWEVER, I found another company (local to them) that was much cheaper, so when LifeAlert called me the first time, I told them I was NOT INTERESTED. Now they call AT LEAST 15-20 times per week. They also send post-cards saying they are "trying to reach me, but have not been able to and to please call them". These post cards do not say who they are from.....just a phone number. I just happen to recognize the number. These people are RELENTLESS! They will NEVER stop calling!"
