"I recently received a call Sawyer Edmonds and Associates saying that I owed $2,900 from 2007 and wanted to settle for half,probably $1,600.
And went on to say if I paid the 1st $100 payment on February 28 2020 that I could pay $800 to close case.
After he said that I decided to cancel my card out and got a new one because I did some research and everyone is saying IT'S A SCAM...."

"Received a call from Unknown that provided me a phone number and claim number, when I called I spoke to a lady that said she I owed a medical bill from 10 years ago and the hospital was taking out a judgement against me. We worked out details and she sent me a contract to sign to set up monthly payments beginning February 1st. By the time I got around to investigating that had sent me another email to let me know the contract was now void."

"I received a message from Becky who also called my Husband. Said that I have a civil legal action against from a credit card from 2005. They said they were going to garnish my wages and they said the name of my company I work for, said if I do not call back tomorrow by 4pm they will have the litigation department call me to pursue legal actions in court. I asked them to send me docs through email which they did but I can not open the attachment."

"My husband received a call from Sawyer Edmonds and Associates yesterday 1/9/2020. A man by the name of Lance Perry was stating that he had a credit card opened in 2008 through Plains Commerce Bank and closed in 2013. When my husband questioned this debt and asked for verification this debt actually belonged to him, Mr. Perry then stated he isnt required by law to provide that information. My husband again asked him to send some kind of documentation to his email showing the original creditor, balance and account number. Mr. Perry sent us the letter and when my husband called Plains Bank with the information they told him its a scam and report this. The caller Mr. Perry told my husband in the initial phone call that he had to pay 2500.00 today or a civil suit would be filed against him the following day. I have looked up the address they provided in Ontario, CA and it looks like multiple offices are out of that location but the letter doesn't provide a suite number. The copyright shown on their website is 2019 and the website is pretty standard, sub-par at best with photos ripped of from other websites. The phone number that they gave to contact is 1-866-5264 ext 103 and just rings. Beware of this scammer."

I call the 1-866-910-5613 number, talk with some guy named Charles Patterson who says he's from Ontario, CA at the offices of Edmond and Associates. Some lies about a cc from 2008, will take legal action against me if it's not paid. Had some good scam lies they're telling. Will be calling the BBB and report this. This makes twice this has happened. Who are they fooling? GET A LIFE PEOPLE."
