"My work was called. Left message with my supervisor that they were a legal office and I needed to call right away. Gave her my case number even. Every time I call they say it is after hours and for me to leave my information and they will call ne back. Scam"

"Called me with a court case number saying I took out a loan and paid with a returned check from an account I never opened. Never took out the loan either Stated my full ssn and address. Please report these people this has to stop"

"Anna Luna called in reference to an old bank account and said I owed money on and that they had mailed me court documentation 3 weeks prior. They also called My Mother and Sister. When I called back they sent me to a "specialist" who could handle my case. When he verified my address and last 4 of my social I told the gentleman it was an old address and I would give him my forwarding address so he could resend everything and proof of debt. He ignored this and asked if I was willing to resolve this problem. I said yes and would send him a copy of proof that the debt in question had been paid off and he said that I didn't pay. We went back and forth for a wile and I kept asking him to mail me proof and to resend the court papers and he said he wasn't required to! He also changed his story that maybe I had only paid a portion so he would lower the amount I owed if I could take care of this. He then threatened that he was in charge of making a recommendation to the bank if they should take me to court or not. When I again asked him to resend "the court paperwork" he hung up on me. In no time during this conversation did anyone say "this is attempt to collect a debt..." TOTAL SCAM!"

"Man called to tell me he sent document to my home in regards of a United States court case. He actually said my complete social security number. Gave this number to call back."

"Very rude man called 4x even after I advised I was going to report him. Do not release any confidential information to him for yourself or any family members, they're trying to scam whomever they can. Block the number if you're able to"

"We received a call at least 8 times from this number but did not answer,& they left no messages. The next time it came in my husband answered to a man saying we had defaulted on a loan he identified as legit. When my husband told him it had been paid in full, & that we had all paperwork showing such, he told us that we were going to be served court documents, with wage garnishment, my husband told him that we had a lawyer & would follow suit on this if he ever called again, which he never did again! This was August 29, 2018."

Have received calls like this about other people I know when credit agencies are trying to collect debt or information."
