"I was called on Nov.11, 2019 saying that the person calling was from service Canada and that I was being charged with money laundering and drug trafficking by the RCMP. Someone has my Social Ins. number and they were using it for illegal purposes. They said I had to go to the bank to transfer my funds to a `secure account. I would receive my funds back when I had a new soc. Ins. which would be delivered by the RCMP. They said that some bank employees are involved in the fraud so don`t say anything to them. They gave a number and address for the RCMP office. The no. they gave is 416-915-7139. When I called this no. the person answering said it wasn`t the RCMP. I asked the caller for his `badge number` as the first caller had given one. He gave me the above number."
