We never actually talked to anybody because our phone screens calls. But I thought that it was odd that they would call so many times and not leave any message. So I looked up the phone number and saw where people were getting calls from this number, wanting to buy their home."

"Scam asking if I want to sell a property I own. These calls/texts are an attempt to elicit personally identifiable information (PII) as well as determine whether or not a property is vacant. If the person can establish that the property is vacant, they then put out an advertisement to rent the property, fraudulently claiming to be the owner so that they can scam other people."
